3. USE LESS
FOSSIL FUELS
Take a walk or bike to
places near to you.
Sometimes you don't have
to take a car everywhere,
but if you do, carpool or
take public transportation
when you can.

1. SAVE WATER
Every day the US uses more than 300 gallons of
water per day at home and in CA, people use
329 liters per day. For one day, that's a lot of
water. However, we can reduce the amount of
water we use by taking shorter showers,
reduce days for doing laundry, turn off the
faucet when brushing your teeth or shaving,
water the lawn once an week and more! Every
little choice we make helps.
2. REDUCE YOUR WASTE
Did you know that 1.3 billions of food is wasted
globally per year? Did you also know that when
that food is wasted, 45 trillion gallons of water
a year is also wasted? Create a compost in your
backyard! Take all the wet garbage that you
don't use such as coffee grinds, veggie peels,
fruit peels. Also recycling never hurts either!
