In a large pot:
1 ham bone with some ham pieces
1 lb dried peas that has been rinsed

2-3 peeled potatoes quartered
2-3 carrots sliced

1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

She said with the Lipton soup mix it had all the spices as well
as the dried onion. I have now used her recipe in my slow

cooker and after 8 hours on low don't have to use a blender to
make it smooth after removing the ham bone. If not green

enough. Can add some peas beans if you like.
